It's summer - stop the rise of skin cancer!

July 21, 2016

SunSafety The Sun Shines Everywhere - Protect Yourself. The Canadian Dermatology Association's Sun Awareness program educates Canadians about how sun safety can help stop the rise of skin cancer. Taking measures to protect yourself and your family from the sun will help to prevent the long term consequences of too much sun, such as skin cancer, and also the short-term effects, such as sunburn. On their website, you will find lots of Sun Safety resources for families and outdoor workers including Tips for Parents, Day Cares, Summer Camps, young adults and outdoor workers, and even colouring activities to teach young children about the importance of sun safety. Take a few minutes to educate yourself. Together, we can prevent unnecessary skin cancer! Website: http://www.dermatology.ca/programs-resources/resources/sun-safety
